As a member of CEN, Son Centre Christian College is part of a large movement of schools that partner with families. A network of Christian schools that share a vision, CEN believes that education is the responsibility of parents, and that schools are to serve and work with parents. Therefore, each CEN school has a board made up of members of their school community.
Each CEN school operates independently. Like Christian churches, there is wonderful diversity, but also a common purpose that unites us. Employing Christian staff members and teaching from a Christian worldview perspective throughout the curriculum are two distinctive features.
Representing more than 200 independent schools throughout the state, including Son Centre Christian College, ISV speaks to governments, the education sector and the Victorian community on behalf of member schools.
ISV’s vision is a strong Independent education sector demonstrating best practice, providing excellent outcomes for students and choice for families. In striving to achieve this vision, ISV is helping independent schools to continue providing the best possible education for the citizens of tomorrow.
AACS assists Christian schools in Australia by advocating for and protecting their interests. The objectives of AACS include providing a combined Christian schools voice on issues relevant to Christian education, enabling combined representation at a national level, undertaking cooperative activities that are in the overall interests of Christian schools, and distributing appropriate information on issues of national significance to Christian schools.
